Insurance Information


You are automatically enrolled in the Equitable Life Insurance plan if you are contracted to work for more than 0.3 time and longer than 5 months. If you have an "indefinite" term contract, you will automatically be enrolled upon the first day of your 6th month of employment.

Premium (effective September 2021)
$230.72 per month
$126.88 covered by 7 Oaks School Division (55%)
$103.84 of which is covered by you (pre-tax). (45%)


Benefits:
- Extended Health Care (80%; $850 per year, per practitioner for paramedical)
- Vision (100% up to $400 every 24 months)
- Dental (80% for basic services; 50% for major services up to a maximum of $1500 per year)
- Orthodontic (50% up to a lifetime maximum of $2500)
