You are automatically enrolled in the Equitable Life Insurance plan if you are contracted to work for more than 0.3 time and longer than 5 months. If you have an "indefinite" term contract, you will automatically be enrolled upon the first day of your 6th month of employment.

Premium (effective September 2024)
$291.09 per month
$160.09 covered by 7 Oaks School Division (55%)
$131.00 of which is covered by you (pre-tax). (45%)

Benefits:
- Extended Health Care (80%; $850 per year, per practitioner for paramedical)
- Vision (100% up to $400 every 24 months)
- Dental (80% for basic services; 50% for major services up to a maximum of $1500 per year)
- Orthodontic (50% up to a lifetime maximum of $2500)

Drug Claiming Information
Your benefit plan covers 90% of drug cost at Costco and 80% at other pharmacies with a $6.00 dispensing fee cap.
Members are encouraged to shop at the lower cost pharmacies to maximize their reimbursement. 
For members who may be pondering moving their prescriptions to the Preferred Pharmacy Program (at Costco), the following information about dispensing fees was provided by PWI in December 2024:
